Participant Responsibilities
Weight limit for a rider is 240 lbs.
Our trail riding is designed for novice to intermediate level riders. Riders should have sufficient ability to ride at that level. Any rider who displays insufficient ability or endangers the safety of themselves, other riders or horses will be removed from the ride. No refund will be made to a participant who is removed for any such reason or who is unwilling or unable to complete a seminar riding vacation.
Riders should have sufficient medical insurance and be healthy enough to participate in a seminar riding vacation. Horseback Horizons should be notified well in advance if the participant has medical problems or special dietary needs.
Proper clothing for riding must be worn, including riding boots. Helmets are available. Riders may bring their own helmet if they wish.
Participants are responsible for their travel arrangements to and from the seminar vacation’s meeting point.
Any participant who does not wish their picture to be used by Horseback Horizons in promotional materials should notify Horseback Horizons before beginning the seminar vacation.

Horseback Horizons is not responsible for any travel delays or loss to or from the meeting point. If a seminar vacation is cancelled due to circumstances beyond Horseback Horizon’s control, we will refund only the amount the participant has paid to us. There may be occasions that activities may be altered for the safety of the participants due to acts of nature or circumstances beyond our control.
Horseback Horizons is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
